VTC, a.s., E-SHOP TERMS AND CONDITIONS (EN)
I. General Provisions
The present Terms and Conditions regulate, pursuant to the provisions of the Commercial Code of the Czech Republic, contractual relationships between VTC, a.s., Plzeňská 868, 783 91 Uničov, Company ID 25390341, VAT No. CZ25390341, CR, and the buyer in the e-shop of VTC, a.s., in the English language interface.
The operator of the e-shop (electronic shop) is VTC, a.s., Uničov, Czech Republic.
II. Subject-matter
The subject-matter is goods delivery agreed upon by an order from the e-shop of VTC, a.s.
III. Registration and Buying in E-shop of VTC, a.s.
Only customers duly registered in the English version of the VTC, a.s., e-shop registration form can purchase goods in the English version of the e-shop of VTC, a.s. The registration application form may be filled in at any time, but the actual registration is completed manually (checking up the VAT number of given business entity), on Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Only entrepreneurs with valid registration and tax ID numbers can be registered.
By sending an order, the buyer accepts the price of the ordered goods and the terms and conditions stipulated by these Operating Rules.
III. Prices, Payment, Transport and Delivery
The purchase price is based of the seller's pricelist valid on the day when the buyer sends the order. By default, the price is stated in EUR, excl. of VAT.
The goods are shipped from Monday to Friday via the PPL shipping company and its foreign partners and delivered according to respective Tariff Zones and Transport Times. Payment conditions are CAD.
Goods transportation is paid by the buyer. The transport fee depends on the goods weight and tariff zone. The total weight of the goods ordered is shown in the Check-out and the following tables apply for calculation:

If the total weight of the ordered goods exceeds 30 kg, e.g. 45 kg, the transport fee is calculated as 1 parcel of 30 kg and another parcel of 15 kg, or other combination of parcel weights according to the goods in it. To calculate the transport fee, find the total goods weight and compare it to the price per respective weight in Table I and Tariff Zone in Table II. On the shipment day, the seller – VTC, a.s. – will inform the buyer by e-mail of shipping and the shipment number.
The seller shall be responsible for the risk of goods loss, destruction or damage during the transport to the buyer. The buyer shall be obliged to check the shipment condition, integrity of packing and company tapes upon receipt. If in doubt regarding the integrity of shipment, the buyer shall be entitled to refuse the take-over of the shipment. If the goods are damaged during transport and the buyer ascertains this upon the shipper's conveyance of the goods, the buyer shall suspend the take-over, contact immediately the seller and agree on further procedure.
The seller shall not be liable for delays or inability to deliver goods due to force majeur.
In such an event, the seller shall be obliged to inform the buyer and he shall be entitled to extend the delivery deadline or to withdraw from the contract, without any liability for damages incurred by the buyer due to failed delivery.
VI. Further Provisions
The buyer shall notify the seller of any obvious defects within 7 days of goods receipt. The seller shall settle goods complaints immediately if replacement goods are in stock. If the goods are not immediately available, the complaint shall be settled by an agreement with the buyer (postponing replacement delivery date, or issuing a credit note).
VII. Conclusion
The Terms and Conditions shall be applicable to business contacts of the buyer via electronic shop in the English version (e-shop EN) of the seller - VTC, a.s. - at the www.vtc.cz or www.vtc.eu address.
